We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager of Criminology & Research who will play a key role in creating and implementing product solutions and processes to enhance program outcomes. This role is multifaceted and impactful, encompassing crime prevention, policy development, law enforcement enhancement, community engagement, education, and the promotion of social justice.
Through rigorous research, evidence-based interventions, and community involvement, this role contributes significantly to the safety, well-being, and fairness in the society. The contributions of this role will have a profound and lasting impact on society, highlighting the importance of research and evidence-based practices in addressing the complex challenges of crime and justice.
The ideal candidate will have a background in criminology (PhD/Masters preferred) and significant experience working in or dealing with law enforcement, or military service. Additionally, the candidate should be enthusiastic about working towards child protection. Through meticulous research and data analysis, they identify crime trends, risk factors, and effective interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of experts in the design and implementation of programs under the Special Project Initiatives within the organization.
- Utilize your criminology expertise to identify areas for improvement in existing programs.
- Work closely with government agencies and stakeholders to develop and manage special projects.
- Create and implement innovative product solutions and processes aimed at improving program outcomes.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external stakeholders, maintaining diplomatic and effective communication.
- Drive initiatives that align with the organization's mission and values.
- Continuously learn and adapt to evolving project strategies and best practices.
- Ability to drive Multi-Disciplinary Unit (MDU) collaborations and initiatives.
- Exhibit a strong enthusiasm for working towards child protection
Desired Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience, with flexibility in experience criteria for exceptional candidates.
- A background in criminology (PhD/Masters preferred).
- Experience working in or dealing with law enforcement, military service, or as a lawyer.
- Experience working on government projects or managing government projects.
- Smart and quick learner, adaptable to new challenges.
- Diplomatic personality with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
