Role Overview:

Are you a seasoned backend developer with a passion for creating scalable and robust solutions? Do you excel in designing and implementing backend systems that power innovative products? This role requires expertise in building and optimizing backend systems, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. You will be responsible for designing and implementing key components of our platform, ensuring they are robust and efficient. Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development: Design and Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code across the entire stack, including back-end components and APIs, using Java.
  • Lead Architectural Design: Oversee the architectural design of web applications, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with frontend, product managers, UX/UI designers, and DevOps teams to deliver a seamless product experience and ensure smooth deployment and integration.
  • Mentor Junior Developers: Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Conduct Code Reviews: Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and high-quality code delivery.
  • Scale and Innovate:  Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our projects.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug:  Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack, ensuring timely and effective resolution.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in backend development with a focus on Java (preferably Java 8 or later).
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Proven track record of working with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.), Hibernate, and RESTful API development.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing (JUnit or similar), integration testing, and debugging tools.
  • Experience leading a team of developers is a plus
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
