Job Description  Kmedika Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a medical device engineering startup is looking for an Engineer with hands on Engineering design and development experience. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of medical devices. Must be proficient using Solidworks (advanced). Location: Hyderabad Essential Duties & Responsibilities Generate concepts and mechanical designs for Orthopedic implants and surgical instrumentation. Create complex 3 D models and manufacturing drawings per best engineering design practices. Perform engineering analyses - including tolerance stacks, FEA structural analysis and FMEA. Assist in the development of verification and validation protocols, tests and reports. Ensures the device meets technical requirements (function, performance, safety)Creates presentations and drawings to communicate and document solutions, design rationale, and recommendations. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's Degree and/or master's in mechanical engineering Minimum 3 years' experience in product design, product development or R&D environment (medical device industry a plus) Strong working knowledge of engineering principles Proficient at Solid Works with advanced modeling skills and ability to work with complex models, and assemblies. Strongly prefer CSWE or CSWP certification. Strong experience using and interpreting GD&T, drafting standards per ASME 14.5 Y Strong analytical reasoning with an ability to influence key decisions based on technical judgment. Demonstrated utilization of Design for Manufacture/Assembly and Design for Test methodologies Ideally, able to conduct FEA of structural performance. Excellent communicator with documentation writing skills; clear and concise using objective evidence and language. Strong presentation skills and the ability to present technical material. Reliable, organized, and consistently delivering to a high standard. Great attitude, self-driven, and willing to learn and adapt to project challenges and user requirements.
