To support the Manufacturing department in research economic issues, conduct surveys and collect data, analyze data using analytical models, statistical techniques, present research results in reports, tables, and charts, interpret and forecast market trends, advise businesses, governments, and individuals on economic topics, recommend solutions to economic problem, write articles for academic journals and other media.Job specifications & Key performance IndicatorsAbility to strategise/ plan and ensure research agendas and report concepts -At least 1 detailed report within a yearEngage with ministries, universities, think tanks and other agencies in research assignments -At least one co-authored report/publication with Government/AcademiaIdentify agenda / initiatives for research Work with various stakeholders to identify topics of researchPrepare discussion points / talking points for various meetings and discussion forums-Support the department by providing relevant content, points for effective delivery.Make relevant presentations in various fora’s Make crisp presentations during various committee/council/government meetingsInterpret issues /concerns raised by various stakeholders Understand the issues and recommend solutions to those issuesQualifications Key Skills / Attributes RequiredPost Graduate in Economics from a leading university India/AbroadThought leadershipStrategic thinkingExcellent domain knowledge and understandingConceptualization and consultative skillsEffective communication and presentation skills
