About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.
You will work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality software solutions for our remote environment.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement microservices using Java and Spring Boot framework.
- Break down complex functionalities into well-defined and loosely coupled microservices.
- Utilize RESTful APIs for efficient communication between microservices.
- Implement robust data persistence mechanisms for microservices.
- Integrate with various cloud-based technologies (if applicable) for deployment and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Write unit and integration tests for microservices to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. , devops, QA) to ensure seamless development and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in the microservices architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies.
Technical Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of experience in developing enterprise-grade Java applications.
- In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot framework and its core features (e.g., Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture principles and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and API design best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP - a plus).
- Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks (e.g. , JUnit) and integration testing methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
