BASIC FUNCTION

Position Located in Mohali, India / Manila, Philippines - Corporate Information Technology Team.

The primary role is to administer and monitor the environment, safety & health compliance system; VelocityEHS. This individual performs multiple operational and project tasks such as annual upgrades, application testing, application configuration, application training and provides post-implementation support. The software is deployed in multiple business units globally. The position interacts with global EHS leaders and users on daily basis.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a technical resource providing expertise and guidance to the EHS leaders and global user community on the VelocityEHS Enterprise compliance tool. Provides first and second level application support for the business users. Resolves problem and incident tickets based per SLA (Service Level Agreement) criteria; manage and maintain the VelocityEHS environment. Application support and administration includes gathering requirements, configuration changes, and testing in multiple environments – Development, Stage and Production in collaboration with business stakeholders. Performs troubleshooting, investigation and resolution of issues affecting performance of the application. Ensures issues are resolved and / or escalated on a timely manner Support vendor and system relationships with the VelocityEHS Customer Care Team. Performs periodic maintenance activities for the applications ( user ids, password changes, disaster recovery testing, change management, server patching, etc.) Participates in continuous process improvement, implements changes under documented revision control. Coordinate and provide EHS training efforts for multiple business platforms and business units, including coordinating with other EHS trainers, content review/development, user tracking, administration of training systems. Responsible for the maintenance of batch processes, and SFTP data transfers. Maintain the system and electronic tools for EHS processes within the VelocityEHS Enterprise system ( incidents, audits, notifications, dashboards, roles and responsibilities, electronic workflows, etc.) Performs the agreed-on action plans / tasks to achieve individual metrics and contribute to the achievement of the team goals. Assist with maintaining VelocityEHS dashboards and TRR reporting metrics accuracy. Support EHS recordkeeping requirements for permit and regulatory compliance metrics tracking inside V-EHS; ( OSHA , etc. as required) Able to conduct successful knowledge transfer sessions with the EHS global team members. Monitor and align business processes across business platforms to maintain a common use of the system. Collaborate with the management to lead and coordinate system-related projects  Maintain feedback and improvement ideas for the system enhancement reviews for future decision-making efforts with stakeholders  Ensure system compliance with record retention Publish and maintain internal training and reference tools Periodically audit system utilization to ensure role assignments, notifications, templates, and other aspects are being utilized in accordance with best practices

EDUCATION / LANGUAGE

Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Health and Safety or a related field is required.

BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area optional.

Written and verbal proficiency in English

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

– years of experience in EHS tracking tools, business analysis, and/or administration and setup Application support and software system support is a plus  Requirements gathering and configuration changes to promote user experience and system enhancements Experience with direct customer interaction, and guidance on system use; best practice methods
