Job Title: Senior HVAC Engineer Experience: 10+ Years Location: Gurgaon, India Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are looking for a experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our consulting team. The role involves leading HVAC design, review, and advisory services for power projects, large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, client-facing skills, and experience in coordinating with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Prepare and validate HVAC design criteria, calculations, P&ID, BOQ, HVAC Layouts, specifications, and performance requirements. Support feasibility studies, concept design, and optimization for energy efficiency and sustainability. Design Review & Advisory: Review HVAC system designs submitted by EPC contractors for compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Provide technical recommendations and ensure alignment with client requirements and international best practices. Project Coordination: Act as the primary HVAC technical interface between the client, EPC contractors, and internal teams. Participate in design review meetings, clarify technical queries, and resolve design conflicts. Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISHRAE, NFPA, NBC and other relevant standards. Client Engagement: Provide expert advice to clients on HVAC solutions, system reliability, and lifecycle cost optimization. Assist in bid evaluation and vendor selection for HVAC equipment. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC design and consulting for industrial/commercial projects. Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, VRF, AHUs, ventilation systems, and energy-efficient solutions. Proficiency in HVAC design tools (CHVAC Elite, AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with BIM workflows. Experience in reviewing EPC designs and managing client interfaces.
