Android App Developer

We are seeking a skilled Android App Developer proficient in both React Native and core Android development to join our dynamic mobile development team.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android platforms● Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using React Native Java/Kotlin● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features● Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications● Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs● Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements:

● 3+ years of experience in Android app development● Strong proficiency in React Native framework● Solid understanding of core Android development using Java and/or Kotlin● Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes● Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services● Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries● Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines● Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning● Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications● Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git● Familiarity with continuous integration

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices● Understanding of Google's Material Design principles● Knowledge of performance profiling tools like Android Studio Memory/CPU Monitor● Familiarity with Firebase● Experience with Agile development methodologies
