Role Summary Join athenahealth as a Senior Associate Product Manager where you'll drive innovation in productivity solutions that enhance operational efficiency and employee productivity. Based in our Bangalore (Whitefield) office in a hybrid work arrangement, this role offers the opportunity to shape high-impact internal tools that transform how our teams work. You'll report to the Product Management Director and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver solutions that matter. Team Summary This junior product owner role sits within athenaIT's Productivity Solutions Zone, focusing on high-profile internal tools that enhance operational efficiency and employee productivity. You'll initially focus on managing and growing our AI-powered internal productivity platform and other custom-built tools that help employees across athenahealth find information, answer questions, and streamline daily workflows. The Senior Associate Product Manager works closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage product backlogs, and prioritize features in collaboration with project teams. You'll lead the rollout of product changes, communicate effectively across the organization, and manage ongoing operations. The role demands strong community-building skills and a proactive approach to ensuring smooth adoption and alignment across multiple teams, ultimately driving productivity improvements throughout the organization. Essential Job Responsibilities · Define and prioritize product backlog items in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams · Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements and updates on schedule · Communicate product changes clearly and effectively to all relevant audiences · Drive change management initiatives to ensure adoption of new tools and processes · Support continuous improvement by collecting user feedback and analyzing product performance metrics · Facilitate stakeholder engagement and build strong working relationships across teams · Monitor operational performance and address issues to maintain seamless product functionality · Build and nurture user communities around AI-powered and custom productivity tools, fostering engagement and knowledge sharing · Support the development of training programs and educational content to maximize user adoption of internal productivity solutions Additional Job Responsibilities · Assist in the creation of product documentation and training materials · Participate in community-building activities to foster user engagement and knowledge sharing · Support competitive analysis and market research efforts · Contribute to ideation sessions for new product features · Collaborate on internal product marketing and communications · Provide input on process improvements within the product management team · Engage with external partners as needed to support product initiatives · Help implement best practices and guidelines for internal AI and productivity tool usage · Analyze user interaction patterns with custom internal tools to identify improvement opportunities Expected Education & Experience · Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field · 5 to 8 years of experience in product management or related roles · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Familiarity with change management principles and practices · Experience or interest in community building within a professional environment · Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively · Proficiency in product management tools and software is a plus · Basic understanding of Generative AI concepts and workplace applications · Experience with or strong interest in prompt engineering and AI tool optimization · Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences About athenahealth Our vision: In an industry that becomes more complex by the day, we stand for simplicity.
