Role Overview


As the Team Leader for Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, and DevOps, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a cross-functional team responsible for the entire development lifecycle of our platform. You'll provide technical leadership and guidance, while also actively contributing to coding, design, and optimization. Reporting to the CTO, you'll collaborate closely with our AI/ML lead to drive technical excellence and innovation within your team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of engineers, QA professionals, and DevOps specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Provide technical oversight, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles in areas like microservices, Node.js, and cloud technologies.
  • Drive the development of our application and microservices, working closely with the team to design, implement, and optimize scalable, robust, and maintainable solutions.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes, including automated testing and code reviews.
  • Implement and optimize DevOps practices and tools to streamline development and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends, championing innovative approaches to maintain our competitive edge.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching opportunities, fostering the growth and development of your team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex software solutions.
  • Deep expertise in microservices architecture, backend and frontend development, database management, and cloud technologies (AWS EKS).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, infrastructure as code, and monitoring/logging solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Passion for technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
