Urgent hiring for Sales ManagerLocation- ChennaiProfile- Sales Manager – Specialty Chemical IngredientsExperience- 5+ yearsCtc- upto 10 lpa (depends on interview)Working Days- 6 DaysJob Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive business development for our range of specialty chemical ingredients including epoxy resins, acrylic resins, carbon black, additives, and other performance chemicals. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships and proven sales experience in paint, ink, coatings, and related chemical industries.Key Responsibilities:- Business Development & Sales:- Drive sales and growth for epoxy resins, acrylic resins, carbon black, and specialty additives across assigned territory.- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with paint, ink, coatings, adhesives, and sealants manufacturers.- Manage key accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.- Understand customer needs and recommend technically suitable products.- Market Intelligence & Strategy:- Conduct competitor analysis, pricing trends, and market mapping.- Provide inputs for sales forecasting, pricing, and product positioning.- Develop and implement regional sales strategies in alignment with company goals.- Technical Support & Coordination:- Coordinate with application/technical support teams to conduct product trials, sampling, and problem-solving.- Ensure smooth coordination between customers and internal supply chain/technical teams.- Sales Operations:- Prepare and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and monthly reports.- Monitor receivables, ensure timely collections, and handle credit issues where applicable.- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, seminars, and trade shows.Key Requirements:- Education: B.Sc. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. MBA is a plus.- Experience: 5–10 years in B2B sales of specialty chemicals, especially with epoxy resins, acrylic resins, or carbon black.- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the paint, coatings, inks, adhesives, or plastic compounding industries.- Skills:- Strong technical understanding of resins, pigments, additives, etc.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.- Ability to manage key accounts and long-term customer relationships.- Self-driven with a proven track record in meeting sales targets.Preferred Experience:- Prior roles in companies dealing in or distributing raw materials to paint and coatings industry (e.g., Arkema, Evonik, DIC, BASF, Dow, etc.)- Knowledge of REACH/chemical compliance, documentation, and import procedures.Travel:- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region for customer meetings, trials, and business development.
