Executive/ Sr. Executive - Rice ProcessingJob Purpose:To oversee and manage rice processing operations ensuring optimum quality, yield, and efficiency. The role involves monitoring plant performance, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and coordinating with maintenance, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth operations.Key Responsibilities:Production & Process MonitoringSupervise all stages of rice processing – cleaning, de-husking, polishing, grading, and packaging.Monitor process parameters to ensure product quality and minimize wastage.Maintain daily production logs and process reports.Quality ControlEnsure that rice quality meets customer and internal standards (moisture, whiteness, broken %, etc.).Coordinate with QC team for regular sampling and testing.Identify and correct deviations in process quality.Machine & Plant OperationsEnsure smooth running of processing equipment (dehuskers, polishers, graders, color sorters).Report breakdowns and assist in preventive maintenance activities.Optimize machine settings for maximum efficiency and minimum losses.People ManagementSupervise operators, helpers, and contract labor.Ensure adherence to work discipline, safety norms, and shift schedules.Documentation & ReportingMaintain production, yield, and rejection records.Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.Support traceability and audit documentation as per company standards.Safety & HygieneEnsure compliance with food safety (FSSAI/GMP)Maintain hygiene in the processing area and monitor pest control activities.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of rice milling and grading operations.Knowledge of milling equipment and process parameters.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Team handling and shift management ability.Computer literacy (Excel, ERP knowledge preferred).Understanding of quality systems (HACCP, ISO, GMP).Qualification & Experience:Education: Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in Food Technology, Agriculture,Experience: 2–5 years in rice processing / Grain processing /Milling industry.Designation:Executive/Sr. ExecutiveLanguage:Telugu, Hindi and EnglishLocation:Kotturu Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh
