Job Summary:

As a Junior Planner, your job will be to help ensure that our sales channels have the right products in stock that our customers love. You’ll work closely with the Buying and Merchandising team to analyze sales data, track inventory, and make decisions to boost sales and avoid stock shortages. You’ll also collaborate with the website team to make sure that the products shown online match current fashion trends, sales data, and the time of year. You will report to Senior Manager- Buying & Planning.

Primary Responsibilities

1.     Replenishment: Monitor stock levels & initiate replenishment orders to always maintain appropriate stock levels.

2.     Sales Performance Analysis & Reporting: Review sales reports and do a deep dive at style level, channel level. Generate reports on stock levels, inventory health etc.

3.     Collaboration: Work closely with teams like-marketplaces, marketing, tech to get daily ops going and merchandising to identify opportunities for assortment & margin improvement.

4.     Inventory Analysis: Regularly analyse sales data, stock levels & historical trends to determine optimal inventory levels.

5.     Allocation: Collaborate with Buying & Merchandising to develop allocation plans basis product demand, seasonality & performance.

6.     Website Merchandising: Curating styles to promote better sales by thematically clubbing styles together, which are relevant for the moment.


Qualifications:

1.    Degree in Fashion Management from top fashion schools.

2.    Previous experience in inventory planning, particularly in the e-commerce context.

3.    Good understanding of basic math & it’s application in the business of fashion.

4.    Proficiency in excel, strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

5.    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic ecommerce environment.

6.    Knowledge of fashion trends & industry practices of inventory management

7.    Excellent communication and teamwork skills
