Job Description: Accounts Manager
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Industry: Construction
Job Summary
Responsible for managing financial operations, project costing, budgets, and compliance in the construction business. Ensures cost efficiency, accurate reporting, and adherence to tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management: Prepare financial statements, manage cash flow, and control project budgets.
2. Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
3. Project Costing: Track costs, allocate budgets, and ensure cost control.
4. Compliance: Manage GST, TDS filings, and liaise with auditors.
5. Team Management: Lead and train the accounts team.
6. Reporting: Create MIS reports and present financial insights.
Qualifications
• Education: CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) or M.Com.
• Experience: 5-8 years in construction/real estate accounting.
• Skills: Proficiency in Tally/ERP, MS Excel, and strong analytical and leadership abilities.
