DB Developer Job Description

 

Must-Have Skills: SQL Server, T-SQL

Years of experience: 5 to 8 years

Shift Time: 11 AM to 8 PM or 12 PM to 9 PM

Employment Type: Full Time

About the Position:

 

As a Database Developer, you will be part of supporting creating enhancements to our Parcel Spend Intelligence product offering.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Make our clients raving fans by enhancing the value that our products and solutions can provide.
  • Implementing challenging solutions that need to perform reliably at scale.
  • Develop within an agile product development methodology.
  • Help identify and roadmap next features.
  • Be a team player; be open; be ready; be flexible.
  • Perform other duties as assigned as needed to help drive our vision, fulfil our mission, and
  • Support our organization’s values.

 

Qualifications And Skills Required:

 

5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.

Computer Science or related degree.

Extensive experience with Microsoft T-SQL in authoring stored procedures, functions, etc.

Capable of authoring highly tuned complex SQL queries on large data sets

Experience with Microsoft Azure data services (SQL Azure, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps) a plus.

Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus.

Knowledgeable in proper data warehouse design techniques.

Experience with JIRA for software development is a plus.
