UX Designer

We are looking for a user experience designer to join the Cigna digital team. This role sits within Cigna International Health, so you will be designing for a global audience. As a vital team member, you will be hands-on, turning user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into ‘best in class’ UX/UI across multiple digital platforms and challenges.

  • You can present your designs to business stakeholders and justify your creative choices, demonstrating how they support the business objectives.

Skills and experience

  • Versed in user-centred design methods and techniques.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Miro, etc.
  • Experience in working within an Agile manner within a commercial environment.
  • Ideally, 5+ years of industry experience working in a creative agency, in-house team, or freelance.
  • Experience with User Research/Testing platforms such as Userzoom and A/B testing platforms an advantage
  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry an advantage but not necessary
  • Portfolio, outlining project outcomes and your contribution to the project results. 

Key responsibilities

  • Contributing to user research and customers interviews in order to analyse and understand the users experience with existing and new digital journeys.
  • Contributing to ideation workshops in order to and propose best in class Users interactions for new user journeys or solve users pain points within existing ones.
  • Designing and presenting wireframes and clickable prototypes. Delivering high-quality visual designs within the design system.
  • Ensuring design deliverables such as information architecture, navigation, and user flows are explained and documented for stakeholders.
  • Preparing and conduct usability tests against clickable prototypes, take feedback and iterate the design.
  • Working closely with the development teams to ensure technical considerations are accommodated within final designs and released software is faithful to approved UI designs.
