Job Title: Project Manager (Software Development & Agile Practices)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in Scrum methodologies , and Agile project management . The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles. This role demands exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive project success and align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring resource allocation and adherence to deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate regular status updates and ensure effective communication between cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to align project goals and technical requirements.
  • Review and evaluate development progress, ensuring quality assurance and compliance with coding standards.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders to effectively translate requirements.
  • Serve as the Scrum Master , guiding teams through Scrum practices including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure teams remain fully functional and productive, removing impediments and fostering collaboration.
  • Track and manage sprint progress using Agile tools, ensuring delivery of incremental value.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and manage expectations.
  • Provide regular project updates to leadership, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions.
  • Engage with external vendors or partners when necessary to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in project management within a software development environment.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) is a plus.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed or remote teams.


Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with software development processes, tools, and technologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-based technologies.
  • Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on fostering collaboration.
