Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our US Staffing division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key clients, and overseeing the development of staffing solutions that meet client needs. This position requires a deep understanding of the staffing industry, specifically in IT and non-IT sectors, and the ability to work closely with recruitment teams to deliver high-quality candidates to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in the US staffing market, including large corporations, mid-sized companies, and startups.- Develop and execute strategies to generate new business and expand the client base in various industries (IT, healthcare, engineering, etc.).- Build and maintain long-term relationships with decision-makers, key stakeholders, and senior executives in client organizations.- Negotiate contracts and agreements with new and existing clients.- Meet or exceed revenue growth and sales targets on a consistent basis.
Market Research & Strategy:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.- Analyze client requirements and develop tailored staffing solutions to meet their business objectives.- Monitor and assess the performance of staffing contracts to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction with staffing services.- Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery of suitable candidates for client requirements.- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the staffing process.- Provide ongoing account management and support to foster long-term partnerships.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with recruitment teams to understand client needs and ensure alignment between sales efforts and recruitment strategies.- Provide feedback to the recruitment team to improve candidate sourcing, screening, and placement processes.- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to align messaging and maximize business development efforts.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Track and report sales activities, client engagements, and pipeline development.- Provide regular forecasts and sales reports to senior management.- Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet business targets.
Industry Networking and Brand Building:
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and promote its services.- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and challenges to offer relevant staffing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, specifically within the US staffing or recruiting industry. Experience with IT staffing is preferred.- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Skills:
- Strong understanding of the US staffing industry, including staffing models, recruitment processes, and client requirements.- Proven track record of sales success and meeting/exceeding targets.- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.- Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office Suite (Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
