Role & responsibilities

Planning, defining, executing, and analyzing high-level performance testing strategies and solutions through business, functional and technical expertiseImplementation of performance testing tools and scriptsDerive key performance indicators for performance tests based on application architectureAnalyze and trend performance and reliability of enterprise applications in production-like configuration and articulate test result impacts with key stakeholders using APM toolsAssisting in identifying, analyzing, mitigating and responding to project and operational risksAssisting in utilizing efficient and effective processes and standards in order to continuously improve qualityCollaborate with cross functional teams of developers, system engineers, DBAs, architects, and app owners to identify, document, recommend, and implement performance improvement solutions.Understand current team processes, then recommend and implement improvements that makes the team more agile and adapt to new ways of working.

Key Requirements

3-7 years of experience into Performance testing/application monitoring toolsHands on Experience in following testing toolsets: OpenText (formerly Microfocus) Performance Suite (Loadrunner Enterprise/Loadrunner Professional/Performance Center)Sound understanding of 3-tier/n-tier architectureSound understanding of Performance Testing Java based applications, APIs and Cloud based applicationsExperience in APM tools like CA APM, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SplunkExperience in Project Lifecycle, Incident, Change, Problem, SLA management
