Hello


We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from front-end elements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions at the client side.


Role


The primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the server-side logic of web applications and ensure their high performance and responsiveness. You will collaborate with a team of front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to build robust and scalable backend systems that power our digital products and services.


Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain server-side applications and APIs that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and implement APIs and integrate them with the front-end components
  • Design and optimize databases and data models to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance for scalability
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of backend systems by implementing appropriate monitoring and error-handling mechanisms
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely and effective solutions
  • Document technical specifications, system architecture, and code changes for future reference and knowledge sharing


Qualifications


  • 10+ years of experience in backend development, with skillsets in node.js
  • Strong knowledge of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and proficiency in writing efficient database queries
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment


Candidates with work experience in leading enterprises, in their past/current roles - especially with American companies, would be preferred.
