We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to focus on training and retraining existing ML models using Databricks, hosted entirely on the AWS cloud platform. The role involves creating and managing automated workflows for model retraining and integrating with BigQuery for data extraction and preprocessing. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Databricks on AWS, automating training workflows, and handling data from Google BigQuery.
Candidate Profile and Competencies
Train and retrain existing ML models using Databricks on AWS.
Develop and maintain automated workflows for model retraining.
Extract and preprocess data from Google BigQuery for training cycles.
Optimize training processes for efficiency and scalability within the AWS environment.
Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to ensure data quality and model performance.
Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in Databricks / ML Ops
Strong experience with Databricks on AWS and training ML models.
Proficiency in automating workflows using Databricks notebooks and pipelines.
Experience with data extraction and processing using Google BigQuery.
Knowledge of Python, PySpark, and ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions, especially within the AWS ecosystem.
