Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.

Management Information Systems (MIS):

- Develop and maintain robust MIS reporting systems to provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.- Ensure that MIS reports are customized to meet the needs of various departments and management levels.- Implement controls to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of financial data.

Relationship Management with Lenders and VC Investors:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for lenders and VC investors regarding financial matters.- Prepare financial reports and presentations for lenders and VC investors, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.- Participate in meetings and calls with lenders and VC investors to discuss financial performance, projections, and strategic initiatives.

Audit Management:

- Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.- Prepare audit schedules, respond to audit inquiries, and implement recommendations for process improvements.- Maintain documentation and evidence to support audit findings and conclusions.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant/ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or advanced certification (e.g., CFA)- Proven experience in a finance-related role, with a focus on financial reporting, analysis, and planning.- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, MIS reporting, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Experience in dealing with lenders, investors, auditors and regulatory authorities is desirable.
