We are seeking a talented and experienced Western Vocal Curriculum Developer who will take on the exciting task of creating an innovative, comprehensive, and engaging curriculum for Western vocal music. This project-based role involves developing a one-year curriculum for various vocal levels, while also training and supporting teachers in its effective delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Western vocal techniques and music theory, combined with the ability to design structured and flexible teaching materials. Additionally, the role will require conducting teacher training sessions.


Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development:


● Design and Develop Curriculum: Create a structured, comprehensive, and progressive one-year Western vocal curriculum suitable for various skill levels (beginner to advanced). This curriculum should cover vocal techniques, performance skills, music theory, ear training, and other relevant areas.

● Lesson Plans and Teaching Materials: Develop detailed lesson plans, exercises, and resources that support the curriculum, including vocal exercises, sheet music, and performance-based tasks.

● Assessment Tools: Design assessment and evaluation tools to measure student progress and outcomes throughout the year.

● Adaptability and Flexibility: Ensure that the curriculum is adaptable to diverse learning environments and can be tailored to different student needs, including group and individual instruction.

● Innovative Approaches: Integrate modern teaching methods, including interactive exercises, and multimedia, to create a dynamic learning experience.


Teacher Training and Support:


-Develop and conduct teacher training to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to effectively teach the new Western vocal curriculum.

-Provide continuous support to teachers through regular check-ins, offering guidance, feedback, and troubleshooting to ensure curriculum delivery is consistent and of high quality.

-Create supplementary teaching resources and tools to assist teachers in their day-to-day instruction, including vocal technique tips, exercises, and guidelines.


Skills & Qualifications:


● Education & Experience: ○ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, Music Education, Vocal Performance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in Western vocal music education, with at least 1 year of experience as a vocal coach or teacher.
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional design, particularly for vocal music or music education. Working Conditions:

● This is a project-based position with a one-year duration.

● Entirely Remote


Salary Criteria: 20k/Month + Incentives
