About Position:


The IAM Okta Engineer is responsible for being the working on the design, installation, integrations, and deployment of Okta products and modules (i.e., MFA, SSO, UD, LM, API AM, Microservices etc.).

What You'll Do:


  • Design, install, integrate, and deploy Okta products and modules including MFA, SSO, Universal Directory, API Access Management, and Microservices.
  • This role involves collaborating with internal and external partners to implement and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to deploy and integrate CIAM solutions.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
  • Assist in the syncing of microservice accounts and contribute to architecture and associated artifacts, including best practices and playbooks.
  • Develop and support repeatable processes for Access Management using Okta.
  • Work with application teams through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and integration of applications with Okta.


Expertise You'll Bring:


  • Expertise in Okta, including Access Gateway, Single Sign-On, Adaptive MFA, Universal Directory, Advanced Server Access, API Access Management, and secure authentication.
  • Proficiency in configuring Okta for enterprise Single Sign-On and enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for internal and external applications.
  • Experience with integrating Okta with both on-premises directories and cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture and delivery models, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Familiarity with authentication standards such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
  • Experience with SCIM and various API authentication standards.
  • Knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP) and LDAP products, including Active Directory.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
