Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Back End Developer located in Chennai. The Back End Developer will be responsible for developing server-side logic, maintaining databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. This role includes collaborating with front-end developers, integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, and implementing security and data protection measures. Core Responsibilities - Translation of complex requirements into detailed design - Developing and delivering quality services and solutions using Node.JS, HTTP, REST, RDBMS, No SQL and other web technologies. - Maintaining current technical knowledge to support rapidly changing technology. - The candidate must be able to work with a minimum of technical supervision and supplemental engineering support - Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates and AJAX. - Build (code) and unit test app functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include code builds and documented unit test results. - Provide technical leadership by providing architectural guidance and establishing best practices. - Translation of complex requirements into detailed design and implementation. - Hands-on development and Proficient excellence in JavaScript frameworks such as Node.Js - Expertise in building REST-based reactive microservices platform - Experience and thorough understanding of relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, CockroachDB - Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures - Familiarly with event/message-driven system design and architecture - Experience with developing microservices using cutting-edge tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ etc. - Experience with AWS is highly desired - Proven track record of delivering results, especially in the area of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code. - Expertise in DevOps process and tooling for deployment, monitoring, and site reliability engineering - Familiar with managing applications in the cloud. Qualifications - Masters/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent. - 9+ years of overall software development experience with strong experience in object-oriented analysis and design. - At least 5+ years of experience on modern JavaScript frameworks like, NextJS, Node JS, Prototype, BackboneJS, or similar Bootstrap experience. Skills & Attributes - Strong analytical skills - Excellent problem solving, negotiating, and influencing skills - Ability to work well in a team environment and be able to effectively drive cross-team solutions that have complex dependencies and requirements. - Highly motivated, independent, and able to think proactively - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
