About the Role
As a Product Owner in our Tech COO, you’ll play a key role in helping to constantly prioritises tasks and the squad’s backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making. The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies. This role includes people management and is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace

What will your day look like?
As a Product Owner, your role is to enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to pursue its mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the squad. The Product Owner constantly prioritises tasks and the squad’s backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision making. The Product Owner also ensures that the work is strategically aligned to the tribe mission and engages with other Product Owners to align and manage interdependencies. Whilst this role is not a people manager, it is a key leadership role, galvanising the squad around a vision and supporting them to successfully deliver customer value at pace.Strategy & roadmap – Event ManagementPrioritisation of work and maintaining a dynamic backlog of workInitiative Delivery ManagementIntegration and collaboration with other product areas to achieve common goals and objectivesServiceNow Event Management Platform – Operation, Health, Maintenance of platform and downstream Event Source integrationsServicenow Automation related to Event ManagementSimplification & AutomationITOM Event ManagementITSM Platform and Tenant managementStrategy / Roadmap planning
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStakeholder Management at all levels within he organisationDeep expertise and prior experience in managing a large implementation of Servicenow ITOM module, specifically Event Management and Alert processingStrong conceptual understanding and appreciation of the relationship between Event Management and ObservabilityAbility to galvanise a diverse group of people around a common mission and drive organization strategy with the productAbility to adapt and grasp new skills and content, create product Roadmap strategyProven analytical and technical skills and evidence-based decision making.Knowledge of ServiceNow automation and associated toolingGood understand Data driven insights with ML and AIAbility to participate in technology architecture decision makingAbility to transform with service improvement and driving continual improvement deliveryProven ability to innovate and adapt to latest development in area of expertiseSuccessfully led projects or a large BAU change agendaDeveloped and executed breakthrough domain strategies that deliver the business strategySuccessfully built a network of strong relationships and influencing key stakeholders
