Description
We are seeking a skilled Selenium Java Automation Tester with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing our quality assurance processes through the development and execution of automated tests using Selenium and Java frameworks. Your deep understanding of automation testing methodologies will allow you to contribute significantly to our projects, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to gather requirements and define test cases, ultimately driving efficiency in our testing cycles. Your expertise will not only help in identifying defects but also in improving testing processes and reducing time to market for our products. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and establish effective testing criteria.
Identify, record, and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools.
Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
Maintain and enhance the automated test framework to improve efficiency and robustness of the testing process.
Conduct code reviews for test scripts and mentor junior QA team members in automation best practices.
Analyze and report on testing outcomes, providing actionable feedback to stakeholders based on the results.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6 to 8 years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Selenium and Java.
In-depth knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and automation testing best practices.
Proficiency in developing test automation frameworks and writing maintainable test scripts.
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build process.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
