Job Description:
Title: Chemistry Expert/ Chemistry Annotator
Work Location: Noida & Hyderabad (can be remote)
Job Type: 3 Month Contract (Can be extend or change to fulltime based on performance)
Pay Rate: 30% hike on current/last CTC
Start Date: Immediately (in 10 days)
Working days: 5 Days (Monday to Friday)
Shift Timings: Day Shift
Interview Rounds:
1. Subjective Chemistry Test (Link will be shared)2. Managerial Round (Virtual)
(Freshers are also welcome)
Scope of position:
We are looking for Chemistry experts whose primary role will involve evaluating and labelling diverse content types, including audio, video, text, and images. Using the provided task guidelines, they will make informed decisions and assign appropriate labels from given options. These annotations will play a critical role in training machine learning models to achieve project objectives in the field of Chemistry and related domains.
Skills/Qualifications required:
- Written and verbal expertise in Chemistry with a minimum B1 level of English proficiency to understand task guidelines and communicate effectively.- Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry or related fields, with comprehensive knowledge in core Chemistry topics including Physics Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry- 2+ years of teaching experience at College/University/Institutes is mandatory and 5+ years is preferable.- Must demonstrate a deep understanding of advanced Chemistry topics, including problem-solving in Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry.- Prior experience in Chemistry problem-solving or working on Chemistry-related projects is an advantage.- Experience with LaTeX coding and annotation tools would be beneficial.- Strong logical reasoning, decision-making skills and the ability to multitask.- Flexibility to work on time-sensitive projects and rotational shifts.- Basic computer skills including a typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess complex Chemistry problems and their solutions for accuracy. Provide correct solutions and detailed step-by-step explanations if the provided answers are incorrect.- Develop and document comprehensive step-by-step solutions for advanced Chemistry problems, ensuring clarity and correctness.- Review various types of educational content, including text, diagrams, and equations, to ensure they meet the required standards and accurately represent Chemistry concepts.- Understand and use LaTeX for formatting equations and work with spreadsheets for data management and problem-solving tasks. Proficient use of chemistry-specific software tools like ChemDraw for creating and interpreting chemical structures and reactions.- Learn and apply client-specific terminology and platform languages for annotation tasks to ensure consistency and accuracy in machine learning datasets.- Engage in calibration sessions with team members, other locations, or clients to maintain alignment and accuracy in educational content.- Work with other team members to share best practices and improve overall educational quality.- Balance working independently with collaborative efforts, managing multiple assignments simultaneously with minimal guidance.- Communicate clearly with internal and external contacts, providing updates and feedback as required.- Follow all key performance indicators (KPIs) related tasks to ensure no business impact and maintain high standards of performance.- Protect the confidentiality of all educational materials and sensitive information related to student data and internal processes.- Undertake additional tasks that enhance the quality of service provided to clients or contribute to improving KPIs.- This role is ideal for passionate Chemistry experts looking to leverage their deep subject matter expertise and advanced tool proficiency to contribute to the advancement of educational technology and support the training of machine learning models.
