About the Role

In this opportunity as Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

Deliver end-to-end testing solutions for multiple products or complex projects. Lead routine projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. Solve complex problems with minimal guidance. Execute both manual and automated test cases and investigate failures. Engage with cross-functional teams to execute tasks effectively. Evangelize good patterns and practices of test automation across the team. Define and improve acceptance criteria in partnership with Product Owners and Engineering teams. Explain difficult concepts and influence others to adopt a point of view for ideas and initiatives. Employ Test Automation frameworks such as Selenium, JMeter, and Cypress.io. Utilize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment processes. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated tests into the build process. Be independent in identifying testing needs, taking ownership of tasks, and proactively learning new technologies and methodologies to enhance testing processes.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer if your background includes:

6 to 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance.  Demonstrated ability to work independently, taking initiative in identifying testing needs and effectively managing responsibilities.  Experience with automating Angular/React-based web Applications and Desktop Apps.  Working with different project teams to ensure the functional/regression test suite is up to date and remains relevant.  Bringing up risks to the QA Lead/Manager in a timely fashion and preparing for contingencies.  Demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.  Being responsible for all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).  Planning, designing, maintaining, and executing test cases with minimal direction.  Automating applications and maintaining them as new features are added.  Communicating effectively by adjusting the communication style to the audience.  Demonstrate mastery of Test Automation frameworks (Selenium, JMeter, Cypress.io, Playwright) and CI/CD pipelines.  Designing, executing, and automating tests for APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI to ensure the functionality, reliability, and security of backend services.  Experienced in designing and executing load tests using tools like Apache JMeter or Gatling to assess the performance and scalability of applications under various load conditions.
