About Role: Head (Mid Office)We are looking for an experienced candidate who will assist the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in the Risk Management department of the Company and head the Mid-office function with responsibility for valuation and analytics. The job profile entails responsibility for Mid-office operations including valuation of portfolios, calculating various risk parameters and MIS reporting.
The preferred candidate will be an MBA (Finance) / CA with 8 -12 years of work experience in the risk management function in a bank or NBFC. Exposure to treasury markets and good knowledge of fixed income mathematics & concepts is essential. Further he/she will possess good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel analytics. Candidates with an FRM qualification will be preferred.
Key responsibilities:1.
Measurement of various risks including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, settlement risk and operational risk.2.
Valuation & analytics of fixed income & equity portfolios.3.
Calculation and analysis based on internal models for market risk (VaR), credit risk, etc.4.
Calculating prudential risk parameters & reporting exceptions.5.
Preparing risk reports like rate scan, stop-loss, exposure limits, ALCO, business performance analysis reports and RBI regulatory reports.6.
Capital adequacy calculations under the ICAAP framework.
