About the Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Presales Bid & Demo Management , who will lead and manage both bid management and demo-making activities within the organization. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of driving strategic initiatives, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of compelling bids and demos that align with our business goals and resonate with prospective clients. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to enhance the presales process and demonstrate the value proposition of our solutions effectively.


What you will be doing:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive bid strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and manage a team of presales demo makers to support the sales organization in closing deals.
  • Analyze client requirements and tailor bid content to align with their expectations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client engagements during the bid process, addressing queries and providing clarifications.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring bid responses meet and exceed their requirements.
  • Facilitate review meetings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and competitiveness of bid responses.
  • Conduct post-bid analyses and analyse demo metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with product management and engineering teams to understand product features and functionality.
  • Create and deliver compelling demos that effectively showcase the value proposition of our solutions and address customer challenges.
  • Train and coach the presales team on best practices for demo creation and delivery.
  • Coordinate the production of demo-related collateral, including videos, slides, and documents.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform demo strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales, solution architects, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information for bids and demos.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Provide feedback to product management and development teams regarding market needs and product gaps.


What we are looking for:

  • 15+ years of Proven experience in bid and demo management, with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Prior experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain or IT organizations as a Pre-Sales/Solution Consultant to banks and financial institutions.
  • Thorough functional knowledge of CRM solutions; Dynamics 365 knowledge is preferred.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills to manage multiple bids and demos concurrently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent team leadership and collaboration abilities, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging teamwork.
  • Deep understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape to create winning presales strategies.
  • Familiarity with various bidding processes, regulations, and compliance standards relevant to our industry.
  • Proficient in negotiation techniques and building strong relationships with clients to support successful bid outcomes.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and achieving shared goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and effectively manage pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Resilience in handling setbacks and finding alternative approaches to achieve bid success.
