As our new FinOps Consultant , your main objective will be to gain a holistic view of the customer’s needs regarding the FinOps process and establish a set of best practices that will optimise the usability and cost structure of cloud services.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assist customers on a consultancy basis to provide them with an optimised usage of cloud Services , such as AWS, Azure and M365
Efficiently advise customers on how to optimise all related processes, for a sustainable cost reduction , under the FinOps perspective
Develop an optimised licensing model to leverage cost optimisation , based on the current and future usage of cloud services
Support the continuous development of service concepts and market research, in the FinOps environment
Offer your professional contribution in pre- and post-sales endeavours
Your Competencies:
Deep understanding of Cloud costs, billing, and optimisation
Effectively present complex data and concepts to customers, in a comprehensive manner
Proficiently analyse and collect data
5 years of hands-on experience in similar roles, with extensive AWS knowledge and exposure
About You:
You skilfully analyse reports with different complexities and sources, including calculation, comparison, estimation, computation, merging and conclusion
You efficiently plan and develop tasks and work processes , such as defining issues, gathering relevant information, and finding alternative solutions, to gain desired results
You have exceptional communication skills, harmonised with efficient collaboration across all levels of an organisation
