Job Title: Product Manager – Mobile-based Fintech Applications

Company Overview: PayFi is a leader in financial technology, dedicated to providing innovative digital payment solutions that empower businesses and individuals. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to enhance our mobile-based fintech applications, focusing on secure and scalable payment technologies.

Job Overview: The Product Manager will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of mobile fintech products, including UPI, NPCI guidelines, TPAP integration, PPI, wallets, IMPS, NEFT, AEPS, and offline UPI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly and compliant fintech solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy and Roadmap:
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for mobile fintech applications.
  • Develop strategies for integrating payment functionalities (UPI, IMPS, NEFT, etc.).
  • Align product vision with market needs and regulatory requirements.
  1. Product Development:
  • Lead the implementation of mobile payment solutions and prioritize feature development.
  • Create detailed product requirements, including wireframes and specifications.
  1. Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
  • Ensure products meet regulatory standards from NPCI and other governing bodies.
  • Stay updated on changes in payment regulations to ensure compliance.
  1. Customer Focus:
  • Understand customer needs to enhance product experience.
  • Define success metrics and use data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  1. Product Launch and Marketing:
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for new features and collaborate with marketing for effective product messaging.
  1. Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Monitor KPIs related to product usage and customer satisfaction, using insights for product iteration.
  1. Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for seamless execution and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science) or related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years in fintech or digital payments, with a strong background in payment APIs (UPI, NPCI, etc.).
  • Domain Expertise:
  • Deep understanding of digital payments and experience working with regulators (NPCI, RBI).
  • Familiarity with payment gateways and mobile financial applications.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in API integrations and cross-functional collaboration with tech and design teams.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with UPI switch implementation.
  • Exposure to financial inclusion programs.
  • Certification in Agile product management or fintech training is a plus.
