Isha Samskriti is an education system dedicated to a child’s overall development, enabling them to realize their full potential – physically, mentally and spiritually.

Envisioned by Sadhguru as an offering to children, Isha Samskriti allows them to explore their innate capabilities rather than imposing merely informative education on them. Located at the Isha Yoga Center, an ashram set in the serene foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains near Coimbatore, India, it provides an ideal environment for children to unfold in harmony within themselves and with the world around them.

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Sanskrit Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject knowledge, coupled with exceptional teaching skills and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in their students.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver lessons that introduce students to the fundamentals of Samskrit language, including grammar, vocabulary, and basic conversation.
• Foster an understanding of the significance of Samskritam in Indian culture and heritage.
• Differentiate instructions to cater to the diverse learning needs and styles of individual students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
• Employ effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a seamless and enriching educational experience for students.
• Must be available full time as this is a residential school.
