Description

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced IBM ODM (Operational Decision Management) professional to join our team. As an IBM ODM expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business rules and decision management solutions using the IBM ODM platform. In this role, you will play a critical part in enabling businesses to make smarter and more efficient decisions by automating and optimizing their decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their decision requirements and translate them into rules and decision models using IBM ODM
  • Design, develop, and maintain decision management solutions using IBM ODM, ensuring high quality, performance, and scalability
  • Configure and customize the IBM ODM platform to meet specific business needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with other developers and technical teams to integrate IBM ODM with other enterprise systems and applications
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in IBM ODM and related technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Document technical and functional specifications, including business rules, decision models, and development best practices
  • Participate in project planning and estimation activities, and adhere to project timelines and deliverables
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to IBM ODM and its integrations
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of (X) years of hands-on experience with IBM ODM, including rule modeling, rule development, and rule execution
  • Strong understanding of decision management concepts, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proficient in Java, JEE, and XML, with experience in developing and debugging custom code within IBM ODM
  • Familiarity with rule design patterns, rule testing frameworks, and rule versioning and deployment strategies
  • Experience with integrating IBM ODM with other enterprise systems and applications, using technologies such as RESTful APIs and SOAP
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and address complex business requirements
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams
