About the Operational Model

As our product is different from others, so is our business model. All our fresh products are made for the day they are shipped to retail stores. We have zero finished goods inventory, and hence no intermediary stockists or transitory warehouses. This is possible only with the help of an inhouse fleet of vehicles and distribution personnel. Currently a fleet of 500+ dedicated vehicles and crew touch 30,000 retailers daily and replenish 100,000+ Kgs units of the freshest produce.


Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, and you will be a key contributor to the architecture and technical direction of our projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Stack Development : Build and maintain both client-side and server-side applications, ensuring seamless integration between the two.
  • Architecture & Design : Participate in the architectural design and development of web applications, defining best practices for both front-end and back-end solutions.
  • Code Quality : Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, ensuring high-quality standards through regular code reviews, testing, and refactoring.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver software that meets user needs and business objectives.
  • Technical Leadership : Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, offering support with problem-solving and skill development.
  • Performance Optimization : Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging : Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the full stack, including front-end performance problems and back-end service failures.
  • Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and integrate them into our development processes.
  • Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, processes, and other technical specifications to ensure ease of understanding and future scalability.
  • Security : Implement and enforce security best practices across both front-end and back-end codebases.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), preferably from Tier1 / Tier 2 colleges.

Experience:

  • 6-10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Experience in designing and deploying scalable web applications.
  • Proven experience with full stack development frameworks (e.g., React.js, Angular, Vue.js for front-end; Node.js, Java, Python, Ruby, or similar for back-end).
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).


Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Expertise in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Proficiency in back-end development with server-side technologies (e.g., Node.js, Express, Java, Python, Ruby).
  • Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and query performance.
  • Knowledge of unit testing and TDD (Test-Driven Development).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
