Role
As the Team Manager - Maintenance (Paint Shop) you will be part of the Operations and will report to the Section Head - Maintenance. The purpose of your role will be to do Breakdown maintenance and effective planned maintenance to minimize the BD losses, Effective utilization of manpower and resources, Focus on Kaizen/improvement activities, Safety knowledge is required. (LOTO, HIRA, hazard points closure), SAP knowledge on PM module, IMS documentation.
A purpose driven role for you
Your key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. To minimise the breakdown nos. and hours as per the target defined in frame assembly & final inspection
2. To ensure breakdown reduction in other areas (Paint shop, engine assembly, Conveyors, MHE , SQA & Reliability Lab)
3. To strengthen the PM activities
4. To reduce breakdown by deploying 7 steps of planned maintenance methodology.
5. Taking initiatives to enhance innovation
6. Creating Happy work place
A Day in the life
Preparation of Manpower as per planning. Maintain check on process parameters of Critical equipment . Production planning of Shift in line with plan. Maintain Product and process Quality requirement. Documentation and reporting of Production
Academic Qualification & Experience
- B.E / B.Tech - Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Preferrably with 4 to 7 Years of Experience or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Mechatronics with 13 to 14 Years in Paint, Weld & Assembly equipment, ABB / OTC / Panasonic / DURR Robots, Paint kitchen, Spot welding, Brazing, Buffing, Conveyors, Fine boring machine, Mitsubishi & Siemens PLC & SPM’s.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
1. Good knowledge in the maintenance of overhead conveyors, ground conveyors, press machines, Robotic painting, Aero bells , Marking machines, filling and testing machines, Test bench, Lab machines
2. Good programming skills in ladder, wc
3. Good knowledge of communication networks :- Profibus, CC-Link, Profinet, Melsec Net
Behavioural Skills
1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach
