Job Purpose :


We are looking for Active Directory Engineer, an experienced person in planning, designing, and leading the execution of consolidation of Active Directory. The candidate should be highly technical, customer facing, articulative and an accountable leader.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

- Design and deploy Active Directory forests.

- Plan for and perform the consolidation of AD forests.

- Plan for and enable coexistence scenarios between forests.

- Understanding and working experience of consolidation / migration tools like Active Directory Migration Toolkit to migrate users, groups and computer objects between forests.

- Use of PowerShell, Quest Migration Manager or ADMT and other automation tools to automate the migration / consolidation steps as much as possible.

- Responsible for domain upgrade projects

- Customize Azure AD Connect directory synchronization to accommodate mutli-forest and forest consolidation scenarios.

- Identify and resolve AD health issues which may impact migrations.

- Plan for and perform forest and functional upgrades.

- Integrate with teams supporting AD dependent applications on-premises and in the cloud.

- Work with customer stakeholders very closely and help in planning, designing, executing the migration/consolidation as well as providing regular and transparent communication to all stakeholder in a timely manner.

Requirements :

- 5+ years in IT field such as systems administrator, network engineer, or consultant, responsible for complex Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory consolidation.

- Proven ability to gather and assess business requirements, develop and present solution alternatives, produce design and migration strategy documents, provide guidance and knowledge transfer to client staff and test/implement approved design.

- Core skill set including industry knowledge of Active Directory migration, AD design and planning

- Expert level knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services 2012R or higher

- Identity and Access Administrator Associate or earlier certification like Identity with Windows Server 2016 is preferred.

- Knowledge and experience working with Azure AD, including directory synchronization technologies.

- Strong experience with VB Scripting, PowerShell scripting and other command-line interfaces preferred.

- Strong experience in the following: AD schema extensions, promoting new domain controllers, designing and building new Active Directory services, troubleshooting replication, firewall configuration requirements for domain/domain client communications, advance group policy administration (WMI filtering, setting precedence, item level targeting), and OU design and delegation.

- Good understanding and experience in Active Directory security hardening concepts including tiered security, administrative forests, or just-in-time access

- Strong problem-solving skills, able to communicate in a clear manner and effectively evaluates information to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develop plans to resolve them.

- Good understanding in PKI Design - MS certificate creation/CA support, Azure AD Connect implementation and support.

- Good knowledge in Azure Active Directory configuration, MFA, SSPR, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Security, SSO (OpenID and SAML).

- Design and implement the Active Directory infrastructure, including domains, forests, and trusts.

- Create and manage group policies for user and computer management.

- Manage Active Directory replication, DNS, and DHCP services

- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards for Active Directory

- Experience with Azure AD, including Azure AD Connect and management of Azure AD tenants.

- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate on-premises Active Directory with Azure AD
