Role Description


This is a full-time on-site role for a Public Relations Specialist at Dot Media in Mumbai. The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for drafting press releases, managing public relations activities, enhancing communication strategies, building media relations, and executing strategic communications to promote the company and its clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to improve brand awareness and public perception.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other media contacts.
  • Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and other PR events.
  • Monitor media coverage and report on the effectiveness of PR activities.
  • Manage crisis communication efforts when necessary, providing clear and timely responses.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends to inform PR strategies and approaches.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in public relations or a similar role, preferably in an entertainment industry.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and work under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with PR tools and media monitoring platforms
