Minimum Experience Required: 10y+

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Credit Risk Strategy & Framework: Create and put into action comprehensive credit risk plans that are in line with legal and business objectives.

2. Portfolio Risk Management: Monitor the performance of the portfolio, control credit restrictions, and make sure proactive detection and reduction of risks.

3. Data-Driven Insights: Collaborate closely with data science groups to enhance customer service and risk models segmentation and default prediction.

4. Compliance & Controls: Make sure that internal risk rules and regulatory standards are followed while keeping up effective governance procedures.

5. Cross-Functional Cooperation: To align risk, collaborate with the engineering, finance, and product teams tactics with commercial endeavors.

6. Team Leadership: Oversee and guide a group of data scientists and analysts, cultivating an environment of ongoing development.

Qualifications & Skills

1. At least ten years of experience managing credit risk, ideally in consumer finance or BNPL, with at least five of those years spent in a leadership capacity.

2. Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, analytics (SAS, R, and Python), and credit risk modeling.

3. Strong teamwork and leadership abilities with cross-functional team management experience.

4. A master's degree in statistics, economics, finance, or a similar discipline (a master's or doctoral degree is preferred).
