Web Developer
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Web Developer with proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and Angular, coupled with a strong understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, and Drupal. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of web development technologies, particularly in WordPress, and have the ability to create dynamic, user-friendly websites.
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Write clean, fast PHP code to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way.
2. Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
3. Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
4. Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress websites.
5. Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement design mockups into functional websites.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, including debugging and fixing code errors.
7. Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability and page speed
8. Optimize website performance and implement SEO best practices.
9. Keep up-to-date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing WordPress and Angular projects.
3. Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, JavaScript and JQuery.
4. Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and APIs.
5. Experience with CMS platforms such as Shopify and Drupal.
6. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Magento, Prestashop, and OpenCart.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
10. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with version control systems such as Git.
2. Familiarity with responsive web design principles.
3. Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices.
4. Experience with web hosting environments and server configurations.
