Job Description:

1. Delivery

  • Design and implement scalable automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test artifacts, including test plans, test scripts, and test results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage across the SDLC.
  • Continuously evaluate and introduce new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance quality.

2. Operations

  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members on testing strategies, tools, and best practices.
  • Manage and oversee the testing process to ensure alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
  • Conduct regular reviews of QA processes and implement improvements for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the creation and presentation of detailed test result reports, including key metrics and insights.

3. Financial

  • Assist in budgeting and resource planning for testing tools, licenses, and infrastructure.
  • Plan and allocate QA resources effectively based on project scope, timelines, and priorities.
  • Generate and analyse quality metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and test execution trends, influencing project budgeting decisions.


Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG).

CI/CD: Hands-on experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure/AWS DevOps.

Agile Methodology: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum practices with the ability to adapt testing strategies accordingly.

Communication and Leadership: Strong ability to mentor junior team members, facilitate cross-team collaboration, and present test findings effectively to stakeholders.

Problem Solving: Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve testing challenges promptly.

Metrics and Reporting: Expertise in generating meaningful test metrics and dashboards to track QA progress and influence decision-making.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner) and security testing methodologies.
  • Experience working in large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS / Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).


Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
