Job Purpose
Position ISB as the thought leader and knowledge partner for the Government and Public sector to build capacities and provide a continuous learning environment.
Job Outline
Responsible for building, mentoring, and leading a high-performing team that works towards exceeding the business and strategic goals.
Responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive business strategy targeting Government and Public Sector.
Leading the team towards meeting the actionable short-term and long-term goals to drive business growth, market expansion, and brand visibility.
Guiding the business team in prospecting, pitching, and negotiating contracts with clients.
Working with cross-functional teams while creating a collaborative work culture that encourages continuous business and individual growth.

Knowledge: Qualification - Master’s degree in business administration or education or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities and % Time spent
1 Revenue generation from Government and public sector clients - Collaborate with potential clients to establish network, arrange meetings and support in customer outreach – Lead generation and customer outreach - 40%
2 Building new revenue streams from extended GPS - 20%
3 Knowledge creation and thought leadership - 10%
4 Building programme experience and ensuring ‘wow’ factor for clients - 10%
5 Team building and management - 10%
6 Database and knowledge creation and management - 10%

1 FY24-25 Revenue - 26 Cr. For self (including targets for each subordinate) - 30%
2 New Program or logo - At least 5 new logos in FY 24-25 for self-subordinate (New logo: No business during last 3 years) - 20%
3 FY 25-26 Order Book - 8 Cr. FY23-24 Order Book as on 31 March 2025 + the respective target for each subordinate (in any) OB=MSA/SOW/any other agreement signed, PO issued (if any), dates finalized with client/faculty/venues etc. - 20%
4 Digital Learning - New business opportunities through online medium. Complete account management - end to end business and programme mgmt. Block revenue - 1.5 cr. for FY24-25 - 20%
5 Critical Hygiene Factors - 80+% Collection within 90 days of invoicing (weighted average); 100% within 90 days of invoicing - Salesforce updated on a regular basis - leads, opportunity status, contacts, deal size, financial year etc.; Average 5-day Approach note turnaround time, with none more than 8 days (from the time of clarity on the opportunity;
Average delivered programme rating 4.6+ - 30%
