Job Description :

We are looking for dedicated and skilled L2 Support Engineers to join our team in providing exceptional support for our application whether deployed on our clients on-premises or in our SaaS. As an L2 Support Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in a timely manner, ensuring high availability and performance of the application in a 24/7 shift-based support environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of applications deployed in client OpenShift and VMware ESXI clusters.

- Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and escalations related to the application stack.

- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and provide permanent solutions.

- Collaborate and escalate complex issues to L3 teams or development engineers when necessary.

- Proactively identify areas for improvement in monitoring, automation, and process efficiency.

- Document support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a knowledge base.

- Participate in shift rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage, including weekends and public holidays.

- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely resolution of issues.

- Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.

Requirements :

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in an L2 support role, preferably in a 24/7 environment.

Technical Skills :

- Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes cluster management.

- Experience with programming languages like JavaScript, Go, and Python.

- Experience with ArgoCD, FluxCD, and Helm Charts.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting APIs, databases (preferably Enterprise DB) and data streaming technologies.

- Familiarity with Temporal and other workflow orchestration tools.

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and automation tools.

- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.

- Understanding of ITIL processes and incident management tools.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule, including nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in OpenShift, Kubernetes, or relevant cloud platforms.

- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and related tools.
