JoVE ( is a USA based company producing video solutions with the mission to advance scientific research and education. Our institutional clients comprise over 1,000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, including such leaders like Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Stanford. As a rapidly growing company, with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented individuals to join our company.
The role:
We are seeking an experienced strategic initiatives specialist to join our team and lead projects focused on generating net new revenue. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for conceptualizing and building innovative products, market research and a proven track record in project management and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify opportunities for new revenue streams and assess competitive landscapes.
- Develop business cases and recommend strategic initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Lead and manage strategic projects from concept to execution, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, marketing, engineering and sales teams, to ensure the successful launch of new initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to identify potential areas of growth.
- Create presentations and reports for senior leadership to inform and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years of experience in market research, or strategy roles, ideally within a high-growth environment. Edtech background is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven experience leading high impact projects resulting in revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional projects and delivering on strategic initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Highly adaptable, self-driven, and capable of thriving in an evolving environment.
