RAIN is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Consultant to join its Global IT Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for entire Basis operation and managing and resolving internal and external escalations, coordinating for installations, upgrade and support of all components of the SAP Infrastructure.

Role and ResponsibilitiesEnsure the SAP based systems to operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment. This includes assisting with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery of SAP systemsSAAS, Cloud and S/4 implementation modelsGRC controllerTransport ManagementSAP Application Patch & Notes upgradeSAP router setup and OSS configuration, SAP Logon groupsDatabase restoration and recoverySAP installation/ re-installation and configurationPlanning and managing support packages and kernel patch upgradations, client copies/ transportsPlanning and executing database upgradesSDCC monitoring and management, EWA closuresMaintenance and monitoring of DR standby serverConfiguring/ re-configuring system log / alert thresholdsTeam Lead - Entire basis support personnel and guiding the team technically in all defined areas within SAP BASISDevelop, implement, maintain, and improve team procedures, benchmarks, and controlsMigration and Upgrades of DB, Appl Specific componentsEnsure the adherence of standardsResponsibility of Entire Basis operation and Internal and external Escalations

Required Technical and Professional Expertise7 – 8 years relevant experienceSAP Basis with Hana

Must to have SkillsDay to day monitoring of HANA DatabaseDay to day monitoring ECC Application, BW and BO systemsKernal upgradeSupport Pack installations, NOTE and ADD-ONsClient copy & Daily Basis activitiesSolution Manager BasicsMonitoring daily backupsBasic knowledge on AIX and LinuxInstallations & DB RefreshSTMS ConfigurationsSAP SecurityHANA Replication Monitoring

Good to have SkillsOS AdministrationNetworking AdministrationKnowledge on Server HardwareKnowledge on SAN

Soft SkillsShould be a team player & must have good communication skillsAble to deliver the work packages assigned to him/her

Preferred QualificationsDiploma/Graduate/Postgraduate degree from a recognized university
