Social Shout | Content Strategist | india

A key responsibility of this position is the creation and execution of content, along with planning. You must have a keen eye for aesthetics and be able to adapt to different viewpoints and creative briefs to direct, shoot, and edit compelling video content (on an iPhone or similar device).
Candidates should be collaborative, creative, and organized, with a strong understanding of Instagram. A background in digital or social video production is a plus. Candidates should be proactive, strong team players, and possess excellent communication skills. The ability to adapt to processes, meet deadlines, and work with multiple people and teams simultaneously.

Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the day-to-day programming of social content for all assigned clients, maintaining reports, and social calendar maintenanceProposing copy and creatives in collaboration with the relevant teams to execute content that is in line with the brand voice, tone, and positioningCollaborate with all internal and external teams through the process of content development, from strategy, positioning, content ideation, connecting, scripting, and production, to the final execution and delivery of approved assetsIdeate new social concepts to engage and entertain digital audiencesAttend brainstorms and meetings that may involve future projects that require cross-team coordinationDeliver all final approved assets and copy to relevant partners while ensuring that publishing timing and tagging of content are alignedShoot high-quality product reels using iPhone.Assist with model and influencer shoots focused on iPhone videography.Support and learn from professional video productions.Edit content for social media and other platforms using mobile editing apps like iMovie, InShot, or Splice.Stay updated on social media trends and content formats.Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure content aligns with brand strategy.
Basic QualificationMinimum 1-2 years of social media management experienceExcellent communication and writing skills with the ability to translate the vision and voice into compelling contentBasic understanding of digital analytics and performance trackingAbility to adapt quickly to new technologies and processesAbility to manage multiple projects and creative ideas on tight deadlinesTeam player with a strong work ethicStrong attention to detail and ability to use sound judgmentA keen interest in working with a wide variety of brands across F&B, Fashion, Hospitality, and other industries
RequiredExperience in shooting and editing reels and similar content pieces is a plusBA or BS in English, Journalism, Marketing, and/or relevant fieldFamiliarity with Lifestyle brands and contentMust be based in Mumbai
