Job Description / Responsibilities

• Have a pulse of the business unit and constantly think about how to improve the effectiveness of the business unit - by looking at teams, structure, and processes.• Work closely with leadership and teams to improve work relationships, build morale/culture and increase productivity and retention.• Review and analyze people-related data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.• Interpret and present data & analytics in a way that provides meaningful insight to the business.• Offer HR policy guidance and advise. Ensure seamless execution of all People Practice programs and processes within the BU.• Administer org-wide programs like performance reviews, rewards and recognition etc.• Take active part in the design of the HR Strategic Business Plan and manage the execution of the plan.• Create annual engagement program with extended reach to Happiest Minds member's families, Alumni etc.• Effectively manage the HR Operations activities like MIS, reports, payroll inputs, etc.• Closely work with internal stakeholders & leaders like Business CEO, COO, Delivery Head, Program Manager/ Practice Head/HR leads to conceptualize and run BU specific people initiatives• Being a Happiness Evangelist for the BU/team• Being updated with the best HR practices across industry and create thought leadership in the HR space by implementing innovative programs

Desired profile of the candidate• Excellent analytical, operational and leadership skills• Should have global market intelligence, knowledge of industry best practices and trends• A positive, can-do and pragmatic approach to challenges and complexity• An organized approach to work with good prioritization skills• Ability to interact confidently with Senior Leadership• Display sustained energy and determination in the face of obstacles to set and meet challenging targets• High on persuasiveness which helps drive closures of HR processes• Should have global market intelligence, knowledge of competitors’ processes and map the future trends• Should possess good people management skills• Experience in working in an agile work environment
