Job Profile

As a Research Engineer at Saint-Gobain Research India, you will be working on complete Systems simulation, Firmware developing and testing of automotive ECU software including complete system level architecting, development and vendor management, Co-ordinating with project managers carrying out new product development.



Roles and Responsibilities

  • Architecting & Hands-on experience in SDLC, Software architecture design, development & testing
  • Review of requirements or architectural design elements and related verification criteria in order to ensure test ability
  • Defines required activities and their priorities to be executed by the SW project team
  • Coordinates the planning of SW requirement management, SW configuration, change request management and SW quality assurance
  • Regularly reports the software project status to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for Change Request Management in the customer project
  • Responsible for System and SW requirements analysis, internal request of System and SW components, putting into operation and requirements based test of new systems

We Expect you have :

  • Experience in model based development and auto coding tools (MATLAB/ SIMULINK)
  • Strong Programming Experience in Embedded and Embedded C.
  • Experience in development of ECU software (Embedded C) as per MISRA C guidelines
  • Embedded software Unit Testing / Functional Testing / Integration Testing
  • Hands on working on Integration level of the SW on the V model.
  • Hands on working on preparation of System level test cases for functional testing.
  • Experience and Hands on working on the SW development process compliant with ASPICE and CMMI standards.
  • Software excellence - Matlab (Model based development) – MATLAB scripts, Simulink, State flow, Keil UVisions, IAR IDE’s,Embedded ‘C’, C#, C++, Python & CAPL scripts.
  • Testing tools – LDRA/Vector Cast - ASPICE/CMMI – Unit, integration, Systems level test
  • Communications & Tools (CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, CANalyzer, PCAN etc)


Desirable Skills:

  • ADAS development & Domain exposure – Image processing, Computer vision, Signal processing algorithms, Machine learning, Deep learning, Control systems concepts – Automotive systems.
  • Exposure to HW development.
  • GPU, Arm Cortex, Microcontrollers (16,32 bits) & Dual core architectures
  • Good knowledge and working experience in Compilers and Debuggers
  • Good Knowledge on AUTOSAR.


Qualification

  • Phd /Masters (ME/MTech/MS) in Embedded systems design/Electronics & Communication
  • 5+ years of experience in the relevant domains mentioned below
