Job Overview:An Oracle PL/SQL Developer will be a key member responsible for providing overall database support with a concentration on back-end programming. The PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for properly maintaining source code sets and necessary technical documentation. A PL/SQL developer is responsible for managing and designing PL/SQL packages and code according to business requirements and core specifications. PL/SQL developers must have excellent knowledge of technical solutions to create efficient databases and applications with optimized performance. To ensure the stability of systems before releasing the final outputs. A PL/SQL developer also enhances the features of existing packages and resolves downtimes and delays.

Job Description:Technical Skills (Must Have):Oracle PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting

Key Responsibilities:Involve in analysis, design, development, testing, compiling, debugging, and maintaining the data using Oracle PL/SQL.Strong experience in complex SQL Queries using hints, indexes Joins, DDL, DML, TCL, Types, Object, Collection Development.Experience in writing procedures, packages, functions, exceptions.Experience in Analytical functions, Collections Bulk Data operation.Experience in development tools such as PL/SQL developer, Toad.Good exposure to Oracle Performance Tuning concepts and should be able to tune the SQL queries as well as PL/SQL programs using hints, indexes, partitions, and other performance tuning techniques.Hands on experience on Unix Shell Scripting.Excellent communication and analytical skills, Quick learner, looking for new challenges.

Good to have:Good knowledge on Microsoft Azure preferred.Good knowledge of Python preferred.Prior experience in Financial Services/Banking Domain preferred.Seamlessly work with different teams from Development to Delivery.Work with java developers to repair and enhance the current base of PL/SQL packages to fix production issues and build new functionality.

Professional Experience:At least 7 years of professional experience in Database development.Demonstrated experience in developing enterprise-grade databases using Oracle, PL/SQL.Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.Master's degree or further education would be advantageous.

Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex issues.Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.Self-motivated and proactive with a commitment to continuous improvement.
